This is an amazingly fun book!!!!! I love how the goblin's act and think of how to trap the little Princess and Curdie. Everyone should read this fun , scary and really good story.

Good book & Read

(5 stars)

I found this to be a good book with an good reader. I am glade I could listen to both. I can see the threads of influence on Lewis and Tolkien. Hope that my future readers can say the same of me and my books.

Great Story

(5 stars)

I really enjoyed listening to the reader. Loved her accent. Seemed appropriate for this story. The story, although at times seeming to be very simple in writing style, was very suspenseful and enjoyable. I can see how greats such as C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien were inspired by George MacDonald's stories.

Excellent book, good execution

(4 stars)

Really pleasant, precise reading which does justice to such a great story. However, the princess's name is Irene, not Ireney.

The story is interesting, and Lizzie Driver’s voice is very nice to listen to, but a minor issue I have with her reading is that she pauses a lot, which can get a bit irritating at times, especially when it’s in the middle of sentences.
