Reviews

great story; poor reader

(4 stars)

Excellent story. However, the reader is very difficult to listen to.

Lovely

There's more to this book than the story of a young girl at boarding school. Pixie is a charming and engaging character, but the broader story of her family and home were also very enjoyable. I'm not sure what age group the author had in mind when she wrote this, but I would recommend it to the Young Adult audience, and adults who enjoy stories about children and families. Many thanks to the narrator for her very capable reading.

What a treasure!

I loved this book! I started it on the plane back to the USA from a visit to Ireland. it was so fun hearing a story about a charming Irish family, and their sweet sister Pixie!

Sweet Story

I liked this book! It was fun and sweet. There were just a few times where it was a little slow, otherwise very enjoyable. The reader did a great job with using different voices. 👍

well done

Totally enjoyed the plot . Days gone by and a trip back in time. A light read that I recommend based on good character development. Thanks to the reader for a job well done

Story and reader, both, great! Thank you Judi Mason for reading so well the work of this author which I did not know before finding it on LibriVox's audiobooks.

Very fun and interesting book, given from a blunt speaking and loving Irish view. loved it.

fantastic story

I did not like the whiney tone the reader used with ALL the voices.
