One of the best readings on Librivox! She expresses a lot of emphasis and articulation. Classic work of Fitzgerald.

Fantastic reading, worth every minute invested in a listen.

A very good recording

Philippe Horak
Fizgerald's novel tells the story of Anthony Patch, whose life is characterized by a general laziness and inertia. The book traces, at very great length, with much repetition of a not particularly profound subtle psychological analysis and numerous dissertations, the course of his mental, moral and physical disintegration. Many thanks to Mrs Tavano for her lively and precise reading of the book. Her recording will delight amateurs of American literature for many hours.
Very good reading

Reader is very clear and reflects the different characters well. Sometimes slightly too fast in parts - I often had to rehear a sentence with additional concentration in order to follow - but otherwise very good. Thanks so much for recording it!

don't be put off by the précis of the plot. this is a book where m.scott's genius of writing comes through. listen to the words and phrases, and the structure of the story. I enjoyed the book a lot.
I liked it I think

I'm still not sure of any point or clear message, however I enjoyed it nonetheless. it's one of those old classics that make you feel a tremendous amount of emotions.

Nice book. It's the story of a lost generation in early 20th century, young people, rich, educated, open minded, but lazy and bored, who make a mess of their lives. Wonderfully read!
