On Sunday, November 18, 2018, we continued our way through the Gospel of Luke by looking at a summarization passage that gave us some insight on those who were following Jesus. We learned that this group was made up of the twelve disciples and âmany women.â I told my congregation that a local church needs to be a (1) Gospel Driven Church, (2) Welcoming and Loving Church and (3) Financially Generous Church.
