For The Fallen Radio Drama World War One

Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 - 51 minutes Manx Radio An original radio play commemorating the Isle of Man’s role during the First World War. Based upon true stories and letters from the period, the play was written and directed by John Young and performed by local actors and actresses. It was first performed as a stage work in April 2018, then produced for Manx Radio in association with the Isle of Man Arts Council. With the outbreak of  WW1 ,  the island  had been chosen by British Intelligence as the place to house the German and Austrian civilians, now thought to be a threat to national security.
