Julian May - Dune Roller

(4.5 stars; 2 reviews)

There used to be an old wives' tale about a dune roller-a glowing sphere 20 feet high that lived in the caves at the bottom of Lake Michigan. At night it would come out of the lake and roam through the dune forest looking for a man ... and when it found one it would stop rolling and sink back into the lake.
