Wonderful!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and would highly recommend this version of The Great Gatsby. The narrator has a delightful voice, and his rhythm and cadence were perfect for Fitzgerald's particular style of writing.

HOOKED on the reader. Anything he lacks in enunciation he makes up for In cadence and an overall amazing voice!

Still didn't like it
Paul Busman
I had to read this back in the late 1960s and hated. With so many years behind me now I figured I owed it to this "great American novel" to give it another go. I Still hated it, maybe even more than before. I couldn't give one hoot to all the vapid, overprivileged rich people. I wouldn't want to know any of them in real life. On the plus side, Fitzgerald writing is often lyrical, and this reader excellent. Frankly I can't understand why so many consider this to be such an excellent novel.
Great reeder and story
classics I need to read
This is my second time reading this book. Non of the characters except maybe the narrator are likable, but it’s such a well written book that I will always love it. Also I think the point isn’t to like the people, but to understand them and see where unfiltered desires really take a person. The reader was perfect.
Well read, a clunky piece of literature though
Michael Nieminen
While this classic portrays the failings of the elite and common man alike, it struggles to articulate a compelling vision of goodness as an alternative. It tries too hard to convey a general pathology of humanity and ultimately leaves the reader with the realization that something essential is absent from the portrayal.
Brilliant
