Daniel possessed an “excellent spirit”—Our spirit matters! 2. Daniel was “wise” spiritually, where is counts, which ONLY comes from God 3. Daniel was also personable and did good.  So, he was liked. Prov 22:1  A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
