Three Stories by H P Lovecraft performed by The Breadline Theatre on KRAB Jun 14, 1971 Seattle’s KRAB-FM was one of the first public radio stations in the county, going on the air in 1962 and lasting until 1984. Over the years there were a number of Seattle and KRAB groups that produced drama or theatrical readings for the stations. These included writer/producer Greg Palmer 's Roachdale Radio Players , which, with Raymond Jarvi directing, seems to have gotten serious when it morphed into The Breadline Theatre . Between 1971 and 1972 the players included Susan Marshall, James Mish'alani, Kirby Duffle, and Ivars Mikelson, Charlotte Richie, Janet Hews, and Sverre Arestad. This, The Breadline Theatre ’s sixth production, is a performance of Three Stories by H. P. Lovecraft: “Beyond the Wall of Sleep” from Dagon and Other Stories (39:56) (Begins with a 4 minute musical introduction) “From Beyond” from Dagon and Other Stories (21:43) “Ex Oblivione” (5:53) Co-ordinated by Raymond Jarvi and Ivars Mikelson, directed by Raymond Jarvi, with technical assistance from Greg Palmer and engineering by Bill Seymour.
