infinitely better than it had any right to be. Such a rediculous premise, yet the book was amazing. It covered the atrocities of the Great War more thoroughly than some autobiographies of the time. There is an ironic moment where the book (clearly a propaganda piece) makes fun of the German willingness to believe propaganda. If I had one complaint, it's that the reader sounds like Fred Rogers inviting you to become his neighbors

W hat fun book. It had me at the edge of my nerves wondering how she would get out of certain deathly situations. It's nice to hear a story that reminds people why war happened and who were the good guys.

I was ready to think this had to be the craziest premise for a book but it was so well written and suspenseful that it was mesmerizing.

excellent

the reader's kinda dull. With a different reader, this book would get consistent 5 stars from everyone. The story's good & fast paced.
