TOUR DE FARCE

(4.5 stars)

A fun collection of Wodehouse short stories. The narrator gave additional impetus to the humor. This migjt be a book which is better for listening than for my own rrading.

Wonderful!

I am just discovering Wodehouse. My comment is a repeat of s/o else, because it says everything. "The stories are the standard (and great Wodehouse), but the reader is something else. I would assume he must be a professional given his abilities. He reads incredibly including being able to do consistent distinct multiple character voices. Absolutely fabulous."

PL'd this and I spent a lot of time laughing out loud. Not a good idea when you are in an office, oh well. Mike H is an awesome reader. You will love this collection. Enjoy!

Outstanding Reader!

Currently I have been binge listening to Wodehouse and can’t stop laughing! Mike Harris with his various British accents for individual characters makes this very British comic writer so much more funny! Great entertainment!

It doesn’t get better than Wodehouse!

Great stories, excellent reader! There were a couple of stories in the middle with French characters that were a bit hard to follow, but otherwise great!

Lovely Wodehouse short stories which I hadn't heard before. Nicely read. On the whole in this case I enjoyed the voice characterisation except that the reader ought not attempt a French accent.

romance with wisdoms!

(4 stars)

Interesting romances with wisdom added. Fun afternoon entertainment. Read by Mike Harris - who became the characters that always adds to the enjoyment of the experience.
