Wish it were longer!

This is a sweet little story, with characters I grew attached to...and I am sorry it didn't continue! Yet it certainly leaves the reader with happy imaginings and a glad sigh! I'll have to read The Virginian now. :). VERY well read! Thank you!

It's a sweet story that gets close to schmaltz, but veers off. A story of kindness and welcoming responsibilities rather than ducking them. And Christmas generosity.
