Good stories, well read

This collection highlights stories from other fictional heros of Sherlock's time- the stern Hagar of the Pawnshop, the garrulous Man in the Corner, and of course, the legal medico Dr. Thorndike. I may not enjoy these quite as much as Holmes' stories, but they have much to recommend them.
