Reviews

very good

(4 stars)

I thought it was very well read. The reader had excellent emotion! And was able to voice the characters in a very compelling way. The only issue I had at all is there was some kind of clicking or creaking throughout the recording.

Excellent Reader!

I love this version of the classic story!

Excellent Narration

(4.5 stars)

Beautiful rendition. A bit too quick at times, and Glen seems to slur words together occasionally, but this may have been due to editing. Wonderful voices, excellent accents, beautiful telling. Overall one of my favorite holiday traditions I look forward to every year.

My favorite audiobook of this story

(5 stars)

I love this narration of a Christmas carol. Every December for the past 3 years, I have been listening to it. Glen does a perfect impersonation of the ghost of Christmas past and all the characters. He goes above and beyond all my expectations every time I listen to it! I'm humbled by this story every Christmas as I re-read one of my favorite childhood stories.

Great narration to this beloved classic story!

Wonderful Reading

(5 stars)

I had seen the old movie so many times, but never read the book. It's so much deeper and I can see making time for another listen every December. Smokestack Jones does an excellent job reading this solo Librivox project.
