Great version

(5 stars)

I like this version a lot, it's not just read out but acted out. The reader has a good voice to listen to and a decent accent.

My favorite audiobook of this story

(5 stars)

I love this narration of a Christmas carol. Every December for the past 3 years, I have been listening to it. Glen does a perfect impersonation of the ghost of Christmas past and all the characters. He goes above and beyond all my expectations every time I listen to it! I'm humbled by this story every Christmas as I re-read one of my favorite childhood stories.

Wonderful Reading

(5 stars)

I had seen the old movie so many times, but never read the book. It's so much deeper and I can see making time for another listen every December. Smokestack Jones does an excellent job reading this solo Librivox project.

This version is very well read. The reader makes the original understandable and enjoyable. It is also delightfully creepy as a good ghost story should be.

best Christmas tale of all time

loved this book, I have watched many adaptations of this book but never read it. I wasn't disappointed.

very good

(4 stars)

I thought it was very well read. The reader had excellent emotion! And was able to voice the characters in a very compelling way. The only issue I had at all is there was some kind of clicking or creaking throughout the recording.

Fantastic book, great reader. Many parts of the book were very quiet and difficult to hear my headphones though.

Good reading but the sound quality was a little lacking. Could really only enjoy it in quiet environments.
