Do you have what it takes to be the person you want to be? This is a neat self help book in plain English by the New Thought Movement author Orison Swett Marden. He has included various essays on the principles he believes will lead to success in life. This book is a nice reading for any one who believes in "The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself. It is not in your environment; it is not in luck or chance, or the help of others; it is in yourself alone," which was one of Orison Swett Marden's famous dialogues. Not only is this book is a gold, superb, the reader has a fantastic tone and tempo which is perfectly suited to this topic making it a delight to listen to. For me, it is read in a way that it feels like it is that actual author who is reading! I thank the reader and will look out for other books by him.

Best Self-help Book

I've read / listened to many self help books and this one by far is my favorite. It has been a great source of motivation for me and all I share it with.

What a brilliant reading. A voice better fit for such a task as reading the words in this great work would be hard to come by. Thank you. What ever ideas this book presents which seem out of date must be viewed through the lense of the time in which it was writing. At last, such ideas are dwarfed by the glut of timeless gems this peice has to offer.

Bravo!!! Great book and reader

A pretty great book. Some parts are a bit outdated. I personally did not like the women can't section (shortened explanations), but my mamma didn't raise a man to think anyone was inferior. My buffalo nickel cents.

A great booster dose

One of the really good books that all people should read. Although the book relies on the American context, it's a gem and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. A book that builds Character.

The ideas presented in this book are still valid today. You can listen it at a higher than normal speed, as the reader is quite slow. Many thanks to the reader for making this book available.
