Reviews

One Word: WOW

(5 stars)

There are great stories in this collection: Ancient Ghost Story; The Old White Maid; 'The Dualists' will make you wary of twins; 'Each Man Kills' will make you wary of dating; 'Waxworks' will cause unease when you go to the wax museum (if it doesn't make you squirm already); 'The Lost Ghost' will make you very wary of buying an old house, and at the same time it will break your heart; 'Chickamauga' will make you wary of wandering off alone. I am always glad to see Chiquito Crasto listed amongst the Readers; he is definitely one of my favorite. There are several Readers that were new to me, but I am hoping to hear their voices reading again soon: AC Bowgus (great name btw); Mutterings of Me, whose voice was perfect for the story she read; Garth Burton also had a perfect voice for the story he read; and Pooja DSr. did a great job with the story, I should wonder if I do not hear her again. As always, thank you Librivox for providing the stories, and thank you to all the Readers for their fantastic work!

Love it!

I really enjoy listening to these stories. they really help me with my insomnia. I can focus on the readers and stop my brain from running

Worth listening to in general.

Several of these stories seem to be unfinished and have endings that are abrupt and unsatisfying, however most were interesting to listen to and the readers were all good.
