enjoyed

Not my favorite glh, but some really good Christian themes... Aunt Hannah was my favorite character in this book, very lovable. Enjoy listening! Can't wait for the next.

a Joy to Read

This book was a joy to read. Much more down to earth than most of Hill's other books, which can be a bit sappy.

Aunt Hannah Saves the Day!

I didn't find Celia quite as endearing as other GLH protagonists--she seems to dedicate herself to a goal, and then constantly flip-flops...maybe she is more realistic?? She purposefully presents herself as distant and aloof to another character, and almost to the reader--she sort of pops in and out of the story in a disjointed way. Anyhow still a good book about redeeming people, situations and things for God.

I was riveted by the account of preparing a dinner for the boarding house.

I absolutely love the way this story ends. The truth of the gospel is beautiful throughout.
