The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise attributed to Sun Tzu, a high-ranking military general, strategist and tactician. The text is composed of 13 chapters, each devoted to one aspect of warfare. It is commonly considered to be the definitive work on military strategy and tactics of its time. It has been the most famous and influential of China's Seven Military Classics, and "for the last two thousand years it remained the most important military treatise in Asia, where even the common people knew it by name." It has had an influence on Eastern and Western military thinking, business tactics, legal strategy and beyond. - Summary by Wikipedia

Well-read, surprisingly short

(4 stars)

A classic book, it’s very short and easy to listen to. This reader suited the text.

Reading that fits the text

(5 stars)

This seems to be the perfect English reader for this text. It's read with the kind of masculine tone that the text carries. It feels like you're receiving instructions from a war general.

This dude has a cold. "which arby is stronger?" thus, hence, thus, hence, thus, hence, thus, hence. I hear about this book my whole life, and it was interesting but I don't like how it's written or read here.

(5 stars)

well read but a little to fast for my taste.

Excellent reading voice. Good rhythm to speech and enunciation. Bob Neufeld has a voice and speech pattern that somewhat reminds me of Ian McKellen.
