A plain straightforward mystery. There are no twists nor turns. There is only 1 surprise & it's the ending. It's only a surprise because you're not given the information earlier to suspect the person of murder. Still, I don't regret listening to this. As usual, Richard has a wonderful voice but it does rise all of the time in the middle of sentences instead of after a question is asked. I hope he changes this then reads everything!

A reader one has to get used to.

A good mystery. Every clue seems obvious. I did guess who it was but not because I had information as to why they did it. This is part of my yearly mystery read.

A FUN ROMANTIC WHODUNNIT

(4.5 stars)

Burrows is not Sam Spade nor Phillip Marlowe nor Hercule Poirot, but he is a pleasant, hardworking detective who always "gets his girl." Kilmer is always easy on the ears.

A good relaxing read

Not a complex story, however, it has a few u expected twists. The reader's voice is clear and well recorded.

Narrator did his i sual great job. Story just barely kept my interest to the end.

Disappointing

(1 stars)

Very unintelligent detective novel. The real dective work is done in last 2 chapters. A real waste of time.
