Well read

(5 stars)

The stories were well read. The stories themselves are at least decent. Worth reading. Not fantastic detective writing per se (e.g., it's very hard to play along as oftentimes key information isn't really given until the reveal), but they're entertaining. I'd recommend.

Another amazing reading by Mr David Incredible Voice Clarke

(5 stars)

A great set of short stories by an amazing writer, but truly brought to life by the amazing reading and voice skills of David Clarke. It's truly a pleasure to listen to the reading, it transports me right back in time into the London where and whence these stories were set. Truly mesmerizing. I do hope Mr Clarke will find the time and energy to lend his fabulous voice to further readings of the same caliber. Thank-you very much!

Excellant Reading!

Wonderfully written book, of course. Sherlock Holmes never fails to entertain. But the reading of the book, done by David Clarke, is what makes the audiobook even better. Mr. Clarke did an amazing job!

The stories were fun and the reader was expressive. I very much enjoyed listening to this book. There were a couple of words that were old enough (or English enough?) that I didn't understand them. That in no way detached from the stories.

Excellently read. Could have dropped half a star for some less than perfect pronunciation, but in the end this reader's delivery never fails to engage.

Amazing narrator

I was truly engrossed by your storytelling and it came as a shock to me when I remembered that only one person was reading this. Thank you very much for the experience! Wonderful quality.

So Enjoyable!!

This was simply riveting, exciting, and fun. The humor of Homes, when read by this reader, is infectious and witty with brilliant taste for sarcasm. I love this book!! Per my name, I listen to books primarily while cleaning. The Sherlock Holmes books have been marvelous, and I look forward to chore time if just to listen to the next bit of story! 5 stars; I hope you'll give it a listen! 😊

David Clarke is fantastic! He brought each character in every story to life in such a brilliant way. I recommend his readings to all who are interested in listening to these Adventures!
