Boz Temple-Morris and Kris Hollington
Scream is a gripping crime caper that tells the extraordinary true story behind the theft of Edvard Munch's iconic masterpiece from an Oslo museum in 2004. As Oslo police close in on a criminal mastermind involved in a cash robbery, two bumbling criminals unexpectedly burst into the Munch Museum, asking for directions to Norway's most famous painting. Incredibly, they leave with two priceless works: The Scream and The Madonna.
This leads to a bizarre game of cat and mouse as the police attempt to track down these national treasures and apprehend the thieves. Detective Iver Steinback believes that the mastermind, David Toska, has orchestrated the theft to distract the police from his cash robbery. Even after Toska's arrest, the police struggle to recover the painting, resorting to an unusual negotiating tactic when Toska develops a craving for chocolate.
Recorded entirely on location in Oslo and featuring Norway's leading actors, Scream is a collaboration with investigative journalist Kris Hollington and showcases a talented cast, including Christian Rubeck and Jargen Langhelle.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.

I really enjoyed this drama. It is very different to the usual crime stories jumping between different characters and is a little hard to understand at first but if you persist you will be rewarded. Well worth a listen
