Hi Brian ~ talk about perfect timing. I just finished Inherited Danger and I see that Dragon Ore was just posted. Both your production quality and writing continue to impress. You even offer just enough "meanwhile back on the Godfist", to keep everything tied together. Dragon Ore is downloading even ...

Listened to the 1st book & was thrilled. Having just finished Inherited Danger, I cannot wait to move on to the 3rd book! .... If you love this trilogy, check out 'Interview for a wizard' by A J Areces. A big fat thank you & well done Brian Rathbone!

The story is good but not without some issues. There are some fundamental story editing problems where the timeline following one group of characters is moving at a different rate than other characters. While this could be a technique used to confuse the reader or show time isn't moving at the same rate in different locations, that doesn't appear to be what's going on here. It looks more like a chapter was chopped up into several parts and inserted into other chapters without paying attention to how time is passing in the other story line. Still, I like the story and want to find out what's going to happen next.

I'm enjoying this audio series, and find it to be quite a gem. I find the journey and concept of your main character, their environment, and supporting cast refreshing, missing the weight of a multitude of details that can make a story cumbersome to read/hear. Thank you for the journey, I look forward to experiencing the third book in this series.
decent book

Its worth a read, although, not as good as the first book. Still not a fan of him using duplicate scenes from Lordnof the Rings or being so monotone. Im still going to read the last one just to see how he wraps it up. Im sure it will be decent.
