"The Art of War is a Chinese military treatise written during the 6th century BC by Sun Tzu. Composed of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of warfare, it has long been praised as the definitive work on military strategies and tactics of its time. The Art of War is one of the oldest and most famous studies of strategy and has had a huge influence on both military planning and beyond. The Art of War has also been applied, with much success, to business and managerial strategies." (summary from Wikipedia)

Really good facts and details. A little difficult to understand at time. But over all the concept and thought is great

Relevant and Succinct

(4 Sterne)

The Art of War is a straightforward, well considered, guide, which places the reader under no illusions as to the importance of a quick and effective campaign and the use of local intelligence. Considering how long this book has been in existence, it seems surprising that so little of its advice is heeded today, except in the world of business, which is a shame really, as treating business as warfare just shows how little we value collaboration and collective working.

Foundations of Warefare

Inspired to first read byTupac Shakur the mid 90s and the numerous mentions from business leaders. Sun Tzu frames warfare in a big picture and gets you to think how smaller components of warfare can lead to success or failure.
