Allied Radio Artists radio jingles
These jingles were transfered from 45rpm 7" vinyl records produced by the Allied Radio Artists company, and sent to radio stations in the 1950s. They are courtesy of the private collection of Ernie Prentice, a baritone singer from Vancouver BC who died in 1997, who appears on some of these recording sessions (no full performer or songwriter credits exist). A few have an announcer reading advertising copy on the records, but most have instrumental breaks for local radio DJ's to read over at their respective station.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.

This is an important (and fun) collection of mid-20th Century commercial jingles.
