Blind Buddy Burton and his Hammond Organ

"Illinois Carousel" was a politically sponsored radio broadcast from the mid-1900's captured on a Webster model 80 wire recorder. Broadcast on WJJD. Conrad F. Becker was running for the office of Illinois State Treasurer and needed Buddy's help to get him there. Tuesday, April 13 is mentioned as the date of the Illinois primary elections in the recording and places the recording at the year 1948.
