Excellent and thought provoking!

(5 Sterne)

I agree that this should be required reading for high school students. It is full of practical advice and exercises to teach a person how to concentrate. I'm really glad I've listened to it and highly recommend it!

I'll listen it several times

I listened this audio book when I was driving. The message is to be effective you need to concentrate. I admired that this message which reiterated by modern motivator, had been well disclosed a hundred year ago. I need to listen it several times and practices the exercises. Thank you.

Excellent self improvement material

(5 Sterne)

Often disregarded, the power of concentration is the ultimate key of our living. Self awareness, desires, emotions and fears could all be if not completely, then in big part controlled by us. Excellent book with great examples and exercises to try, would recommend to everyone, regardless of age/gender.

Terrifically useful book! Hard to believe it was written nearly 100 years ago by a person born before the Civil War. His advice is sound and insightful, stated in clear, practical terms. I found it immediately beneficial. The bottom line is that improving your skill at focusing on whatever you want to do allows you to be more productive, engaged and successful in meeting personal and professional goals. More true than ever in today's world of infinite distraction.

Simply Brilliant!

The book is simple and inspiring. The voice of the reader isn't that inspiring though as she seems to merely be reading stuff off text. But she gets the message across clearly. I've gone through this book back to back twice. Every line is important and has the power to change you if you follow it properly. Beautiful insight and some very good exercises for the mind and will too!

I seek happiness, wisdom and the power to help others ❤ I love the ideas discussed in this book and how we are responsible for our lives and what we receive ..and I love how the wrighter sais that happiness is our birth right ..I am going to listen to it again because I have a lot to reflect on 👍

Not entirely accurate

The tone of the writer is preachy and accusing. Some of his points are true but it's unpleasant to listen to because he suggests we suppress ourselves so much until we are barely human. A passionate person can just as easily be successful in life.
