Flower of the North finds Philip Whittemore on an adventure which takes him up the Churchill River of northern Canada to a land which he thought he knew. I always think that I will solve the storyline of a Curwood novel, but I failed again. I cannot think of any author who more successfully blends great outdoor adventure with unabashed romanticism. Melin never fails to provide just the right touch. Thank you.

I love the twists and moral dilemmas that the author has in his books. It is nice to go back to the old days in the way portrayed by the James Oliver Curwood. Thanks to Roger Melin for making this book available for me to listen to.

Excellent narrative by Roger Melin as usual. I found the ending a little confusing and will definitely listen again to clear any doubts in my own mind. Throughly enjoyed it.

skip the first 8 chapters. they are mostly boring useless filler. the rest is interesting enough to be worth it
