This is week 1 of a four part series entitled: "The Servant Songs of Isaiah.” Within the Old Testament book of Isaiah there are four portions of Scripture that for millennia have been referred to as “Servant Songs.” In particular, each of these passages points toward the salvation that only God can bring to His people and the God ordained role of suffering to accomplish His promises. Each points to the events ongoing during Isaiah’s ministry, but they also very much anticipate the coming of the Messiah and lives we as the people of God live today.
