gripping

the only criticism that can be made of this is that it is effectively an abridged version of the full text. the BBC production is of course of superlative quality and the cast all excellent. the story has twists and turns at every point and the characters are well formed. well worth a listen if you can't find an acceptable version of the full text.

I think the title should include “2001 BBC Radio dramatisation”

Excellent concise dramatisation in four episodes. Really conveys the suspense of the novel.

What a story!!! Extraordinary. Written in the 1860’s. BBC did this production exquisitely. Thank you. Just loved it.
