Drowning By Tomás Ó Súilleabháin A mysterious drama on the rescue of a Danish man from the sea off Galway. Two men drowned off the coast of Connemara, two events one hundred years apart.   In this chilling tale, time, language and identity fuse and a young nurse is left to find the truth. The coast guard have rescued a man seen drifting off the Galway coast, unconscious, barely alive. Airlifted to Galway University Hospital, the emergency crew get to work to revive him.   His name is Asbjorn Aager, a Danish professional diver, or so says his I.D. Two days later, the patient wakes up without so much as a word of Danish, or even English, on his lips. He only speaks Irish and has no idea what has brought him to this place.   All he can bring to mind is the name Tomás and the memory of a day spent on a boat with his brothers collecting lobster pots. It falls to Bríd, a young staff nurse, to get to the truth. Who is this man in the bed, and what happened out there in the near-freezing waters of Galway Bay? Funded by the BAI.
