The Man in Two Pieces   By Gerard Adlum  Set during the turbulent period of 1920s Ireland, The Man in Two Pieces tells the story of a traveling vaudeville troupe and the 14-year-old boy who  runs away with them.   Led by the emcee, song-and-dance man and all-round impresario, Kerrigan played by Stephen Brennan.   The show also features a strong man  “The Italian Adonis”, played by Enda Oates a mesmerist “The Great Gustavo” played by David Pearse, IRA man played by Arthur Riordan. Music arranged by Brian Wynne who also plays sax and on bass is musician Daniel Bodwell.      Gerard wrote this for stage for the company Fast Intent,company in residence 2015 in Theatre upstairs of which Karl Shiels is the Artistic Director.  RTÉ would like to thank members of Insight Theatre Celbridge Sound Supervision was by Mark McGrath  Directed by Gorretti Slavin  Drama on One RTÉ Radio 1 1st TX 20th September 2015

Interesting piece, professionally done

I enjoyed listening to this. Sad to follow the show's gradual descent. As with Kerrigan's. But that's how things and life can be.
