Caterina Calderoni :: Scaglie (Scales) For Two Flutes

SCAGLIE (Scales) FOR TWO FLUTES Metamorphosis of one selected pitch (F) meant as generating sound or initial phase of an expanding and transforming process of the tone itself. While expanding towards the highest and the lowest register, it becomes a changing surface by means of microtonal oscillations and constant timbral mutations. The echo of the generating sound punctuates such a development just like a continuous line submitted to thickening and corrosion.
