RISONANZE DALLA TERRA RISONANZA IV - CONTRASTI contrasts, sonorous sculpture of terracotta, hemp and electronic sounds. Risonanza IV – contrasts, is the fourth of four brief composition of the installation Risonanze dalla Terra (Resonances from the Earth) composed with sounds coming from sculpture and slabs of terracotta realized by the artist Debora Mondovì. The sculptures are made up of hallowed elements in which sounds are amplified and coherently elaborated according to the configuration and size of hollows. The pieces, resulting from the integration of sound and form, can be performed either inside the sculpture or in the version for digital medium. Silvia Lanzalone (IT) :: is flutist and composer. She has been worked, since 1997, at CRM – Centro Ricerche Musicali in Rome. In 2000 Silvia Lanzalone won the prize ‘Quarant’anni nel 2000’; in 2006 the ‘Franco Evangelisti International Prize of Composition’; in 2010 a grant from the Lerici Foundation to make a period of research at the KTH of Stockholm. Silvia Lanzalone did write articles which were published on specific magazines; did lectures and masterclasses, as well as talks during several international conventions. Her compositions have been performed both in national and international festivals. Silvia Lanzalone teaches Electronic Music at the Conservatory of Salerno.
