5777 Eikev Audio

The 46th Torah Parashah Study - "Eikev" meaning "because" showing the cause and effect... it also means "heel" and "reward" referring to the reward we receive both in this world and the world to come when we don't tread the mitzvot under foot.  Taken from Deut. 7:12 - 11:25 Torah Teaching at the Assembly of Called-Out Believers - by Torah Teacher Pastor Isaac  In the Parshah of Eikev (“Because”), Moses continues his closing address to the children of Israel, promising them that if they will fulfill the commandments (mitzvot) of the Torah, they will prosper in the Land they are about to conquer and settle in keeping with God’s promise to their forefathers. Rabbi Yitzchak brings out that we see a number of cause and effect examples showing the natural byproduct of observing Torah is blessings whereas the cause and effect of Torahlessness (sin) severs one from the Source of Life there is a natural loss of blessings, protection and eventually life.
