It Sticks Out Half A Mile   :  Unaired Pilot BBC Radio Comedy starring Arthur Lowe and John Le Mesurier . The pilot episode for the radio series which aired as a sequel to Dad's Army , written by the two writers who adapted the Dad's Army television scripts for radio. Due to Arthur Lowe's unfortunate death shortly after this pilot episode was recorded, the show was re-cast and substantial format changes were made before it could proceed to a series. As a result of all the changes, this pilot episode was never aired. The BBC junked it, but this cassette copy was retained by the writers, so fortunately it survived.
