I am over 30 yrs old and still enjoy this recording very much!! the only complaint is on its "sound quality". If librivox could upload a better quality of the recording, I am sure more listeners will love it.... Well done Mr. Hall!!... you made the story more enjoyable!!

I listened to this book each time I was working out in the gym and it keeps me wanting to hit the gym everyday. The story is good, easy to follow even, suitable for all ages. Reader is good. Recommended.
wonderfully read

It was a cool book but the volume is ok πit was a good book only that Glenda should be blue not red it needs to be corrected if you fix that I will give you 5/5 but I gave 4/5 is that Glenda it is blue she lives in a tree so yaπππππβΊππππand he said an and then he said Dorothy said It was confusing If you fix it i would do 100/5 but I did 4/5
more 'adult' than the movie

i always heard the book had more gore than the movie and it didn't dissapoint :). i really enjoyed this - narrator is great. he pauses a bit but hey, it's a free audiobook.
Some errors

I gotta say, This dude J Hall knows how to read this book/story so we'll that it's got my interest peaked by every chapter! Also I am very familiar with the movie Wizard of Oz. this is the first I'm hear it from the book prospective! Frank Baum did a great job as well telling this story!

Great story, needs better reading.
I love this story so much but the reader has completely butchered the reading of this book it’s crazy. You can still follow the story but the constant stutters and and pauses and just bad reading in general makes it awkward and anything but smooth. I would be surprised if this wasn’t the reader’s first attempt at reading a book.
