A Knyght Ther Was

(4.4 stars; 50 reviews)

"But the Knyght was a little less than perfect, and his horse did not have a metabolism, and his 'castle' was much more mobile - timewise! - than it had any business being!" In 2178, once time travel had become a simple task, it had also been outlawed. Those who chose to ingnore this law were known as time-thieves, and Tom Mallory was among the best of them. When he learns the precise whereabouts of the Holy Grail in 542, he sets out to obtain it with the intention of returning it to the 22nd century to make a handsome profit and to settle on Get-Rich-Quick Street. Off to the year 542 he travels to the castle of Carbonek where the great Knight Sir Launcelot is said to have possession of the Sangraal. a great romp through time!

(5 stars)

I really enjoyed this story and was pretty surprised by some of the plot. Great stuff! Excellent reader! Doesn't get much better than this.

Great short story

I love a good time travel story, and this one has a neat take on it. Two thieves from the future go back in time to steal the holy grail. The way they manipulate time and the misadventures is great. The story ends well, and we get a nice 'this might be what happened' peak in the past too. Roger Melin is another great LV reader; reading was wonderful. Enjoy!

Great "read"

(5 stars)

This story was amazingly envisioned by the author and is written in such a way that I was kept wondering what would happen throughout the story. If you like science fiction and historical fiction this is definitely the story for you.

A fun tongue in cheek tale

This is a short, silly, fun story to listen to while doing other things. The reader did a great job. Thanks.
