The book seems to be a classic for kids in English speaking countries. It'a a good overview on the middle ages, even if it is dated and there are some considerations by the author that might sound racist and "ariancentric". By the way I downloaded the book with the double purpose of practicing English while driving to work, and begin preparing an exam in Medieval History at the University. Naturaly the content is not enough to prepare an academic exam, but it's surely great to practice language and refreshing my knowledge of history at the same time! ;-) The speaker, who is a volunteer (thank you very much for that) has an American accent (I'm more used to Queen's English dramatized audiobooks)which is clearly understandable by an Italian speaker (at least that's my case)! So to sum up, interesting book, good recording, very good and generous speaker from Oceanside, California! Thank you again!
