Maybe the best kid's series

This is a small but representative collection. I have an MP1 with many more. Jack Armstrong's adventures permitted youngsters to visit foreign shores with Jack, friends, and family. I believe most of the locales could be found on a 1940 map. There are occasional unenlightened views of native populations but not frequent or vicious. Having an adult "Uncle Jim" provides an intellegent sympathetic figure to the scenario. Somereferences to 1940 technology were fairly accurate. This series is still fun listening, even for this senior citizen.
