The Prodigal Village; A Christmas Tale

Gelesen von David Wales

(4,083 Sterne; 6 Bewertungen)

Small town life in early twentieth century New York state. This is a piquant parable of human nature. Bacheller's lightly humorous voice is evident throughout. Not all listeners will agree with the author's view of labor and management. - Summary by david wales (2 hr 43 min)

PHILOSOPHY IN DISGUISE

(5 Sterne)

With a bit of borrowing from Dickens. the author has preached a magnificent sermon on America. His strong distaste for tyranny is shear poetry. And his suggestion for a return to a simpler values would do much to cure our greedy, " me first" society. David Wales is the perfect narrator.
