The genre can spark an interest in the sciences and is cited as the impetus for the career choice of many scientists. Another good collection of 20 stories individually reviewed. I’ve read/listened to some of them before.

Having listened to most of these SF anthologies this was a very mixed bag. About half were enjoyable. Several of the rest were badly recorded as if in an echo chamber or just uninteresting stories.
