Anna Zenger story

(5 Sterne)

This is extremely well done. The cast, script, and direction are top notch. The subject - Anna Zenger, author and co-writer/editor of husband John Peter Zenger's pioneering colonial newspaper, "New-York Weekly Journal." Anna's ceaseless work to obtain Phiiladelphia lawyer Andrew Hamilton's services to defend her husband against corrupt New York colonial governor Cosby corrupt imprisonment and trail, as well as her writing and publishing, are worthy of status as American hero. This program has inspired me to seek the book which is the basis of this radio play, "Anna Zenger, Mother of Freedom," by Kent Cooper.

I love Rosalind Russell, thank you for compiling these gems!
