Gospel of John: The Word Made Flesh

Sunday, April 23, we will start our new sermon series, The Word Made Flesh, preaching through the fourth gospel, The Gospel of John. John, the beloved disciple, begins his inspired writing in a historically different place than the first three gospels. John begins at the beginning of time. This beautiful revelation of Jesus’ identity, character and purpose is stunning in its theological scope. John Calvin described the Gospel with these words: “The first three gospels exhibit Christ’s body,… but John shows His soul.” John closes his book with Jesus’ imperative command: “Follow Me!” Come with us, as we follow Jesus together through The Gospel of John.
