Episode #28 of "Jazz Today", aired on KOMO, Seattle January 30th, 1958. Host Bill Coben takes the listeners through the rise and fall of bebop, and the birth of the cool sound in the 40s. Audio quality is particularly rough on this episode, as most of the music was sourced from 78's. This was recorded directly from the mixing console onto a 7" reel of Scotch 190, at 7.5 inches per second in full-track mono.
