The Clitheroe Kid Starring Lancashire comedian Jimmy Clitheroe , this is a British radio comedy series which began in April 1956. Set in the North of England. Jimmy Clitheroe, born in 1921, was an English variety artist who began his career on the music-halls. In his act, he always played a schoolboy -- on the stage, on tv, and on radio.
