love this book! I listen to this every night!☺☺☺great readers except the violet.... not a fan of the quality of her voice over.

entertaining

(4 Sterne)

this was a very entertaining listen. usually I don't like "voices", but I didn't mind it in this story. :) the voice of Alice, I felt, was a bit stale and without much emotion. ... and she kept saying "you know" with an incorrect inflection, but that's just my opinion.

great supporting cast

(4 Sterne)

a very tiresome Alice with not much dramatic talent but a good supporting cast especially the red Queen and the white knight.

eh alright.

I like all the voices and how trippy the story is but I wouldn't say its absolutely my favorite cup of tea story wise. at tinesi lost interest. its all preference

Great Book

(4 Sterne)

Great classic, but I did not enjoy this book as much as 'Alice in wonderland'. I enjoyed the readers too.

an editing masterclass

(3 Sterne)

this is my first listen to a dramatic reading and what I am most impressed by with this one is the the production quality. the reader who narrates the story is also responsible for the sound editing and has done an unbelievable job with the the various constituent parts expertly spliced together with perfect timing and excellent equalization of volume and tone the majority of the readers playing individual parts were brilliant and I particularly admired the voicing of the red Queen overall though I was disappointed with this and the previous volume (Wonderland) and feel that they have been hugely overrated. with some great ideas in parts, the overall narrative it fairly slow and weirdly lacking in imagination. I wonder if much of the praise for these books is due to the visual interpretations of the characters which are lavishly portrayed in both book and media worth a listen but don't expect to be blown away... ..
