Conan's lustful desires again get him into a whole pile of trouble. Conan is up against a being immensely stronger than he is and which he cannot kill with normal weapons. Will his mighty thews and muscles finally be crushed beneath the iron fists of this devil? Very well read. The reader has an excellent clear style. Not altogether sure on his pronunciation of a few things, but overall he does a superb job. He reads at a very nice pace and has a pleasant tonal quality that make the story flow exceptionally. If your a fan of R.E. Howard you can't go wrong giving this book a listen.

I've been a fan of Libra box for a while, and I love Conan even longer. this was a great rendition of the story, with excellent diction and pasting by the narrator. I also appreciate the fact that they kept one narrator through the entire story, so the story was more consistent throughout.

Not,(in my opinion), one of Howard's best, but still a grand story, well worth the listen, or for that matter, to read again, and yet again, as I have many times over the years.

This was a fun and breezy story. I could see the monster in my head the entire time. One of Howard’s best Conan tales.
