Very hard to listen to. Main character often drops his voice to a very low pitch that is so low you can't understand what he is saying. Just when you're listening with your ear close, the music comes on and deafens you.

Adventure is a great title for these tales. The episodes are quite adventurous. Plus the actors and script writers did a wonderful job of visualizing the stories. Many times I forgot that it was radio only.

This series is campy fun. Tough guys, femme fatales, a great sidekick and plenty of humor. The sound quality is excellent.

This is a fantastic genre that has disappeared almost entirely, yet it was fantastic. I remember there were some radiodramas that were fantastic in my country, Chile. As for the sound, the restoration is good and, well, some people that state that there were sound problems, I think it's obvious, because radio at that time wasn't as easy to dial an tune as it is today, so the sound was like this. Keep up the good work! Greetings from my far-off land, Chile.
sound is notso great

You have to raise the volume to hear the actual dialogue, then you're deafened by the organ. Bit annoying. The stories, when you can deal with the volume, are great though.
Beautiful Restoration

Just listened to an episode. Sounds great. This is a fantastic series, and the audio on this set is the best I've seen out there.
