The problem with this Relic Radio anthology of Old Time Radio shows is that without some kind of written previews, it's difficult to know exactly which genre each episode fits into. I'll like one, but have no interest in the next. With episodes coming from multiple shows, it's a grab bag of old time radio, and I end up listening for a while, and then moving on more than I'd like. Others may be more broad-minded than me in taste.

RelicRadio is a great compilation and introduction source

I have been enjoying RR's Case Closed series, and now I'm ready for some classic OTR Thriller shows. I know I'll enjoy the selections and I'll get a wide selection of shows - all in a specific genre. I understand the previous listeners comment that the show listing doesn't review/note the specific show, and its style. That's a lot of work. I am happy Relic Radio shared the selections with us. Relic Radio website – www.relicradio.com/otr/ is helpful and visually cool to go to. Also, there are web sites lthat overview classic OTR shows. and a good start is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_old-time_radio_programs The newbie OTR listener here at archive.org can search OTR - then see and use TOPICS and SUBJECTS on the left side of a page. Those who have the desire to get the best single volume of OTR show overviews, might consider finding (via their public library) or buying John Dunning's "On the Air: The Encyclopedia of Old-Time Radio". Listed now as out of print, new/used copies are available at reasonable cost from the usual web sources for books. My home bookshelves are disorganized, but I know where that great book is, believe me. FLASH! Now it's October of 2020, and I've come back to say that I just found the Dunning "On the Air:..." here at archive.org. A boon to true OTR fans, since everyone can now check out the volume, and enjoy learning more about the OTR listed and cataloged here. Wonderful. One caveat to this is: the shows that are wonderfully collected from say, the UK, Australia and South Africa... are not covered in the Dunning book, which is really only a History of USA Old Time Radio, the Classic American Stuff. ENJOY!

Need more!

I have said a couple of times. But I LOVE these old time recordings and finding this relic radio broadcast was great! Great stories a couple you may have heard before but still worth listening to. Especially the Saint with Vincent price. The first few minutes were really funny and Vincent prices voice just added something to it. I can see why Roger Moore (RIP) got the TV role!

Have just brurt all this in a disc.

I just heard the first episode and I am looking forward to the hearing the stories. They don't make 'em like they used to. Thank you for uploading these gems.
