Two men visiting the US from London meet a pair of charming women who return the visit the following year in London. Romantic intrigues, miscommunication and cultural faux pas abound in this short but delightful novel.

Reviews

Odd book, decent recording

(3 stars)

This book takes a humorous look at the British-American divide. There are multiple readers, all fairly good -- they take the trouble to make the dialogue expressive, and some of them attempt to use different accents as appropriate, with what struck me as success (I don't know from accents). The sound quality is okay but not great.

Audio of an International Affair

(4 stars)

This is wonderful to have the audio to download and listen to on your computer or iPod. Streaming it directly works well as well. The 6 different people reading the story have different accents and presentation styles. This has both positive and negative aspects. On the whole it is great.
